Ed Kennedy is a Democratic candidate running for re-election to the Massachusetts State Senate, First Middlesex District - serving Dracut, Dunstable, Lowell, Pepperell, and Tyngsborough.
Ed Kennedy was elected to the Massachusetts State Senate in 2018. He served on the Lowell City Council from 2012-2019 and was the mayor of Lowell in 2016-2017. He holds a masters degree in public administration from Framingham State University. He is a long-time member of the Democratic State Committee, and is a member of the Sierra Club and the Appalachian Mountain Club.
